It's been just over a year since SquadBuilders completed our Joint Commission survey for excellence in healthcare staffing and received our certification. It's exciting news, and is worth repeating and explaining for those who aren't familiar with the certification process and its ramifications.
If you’re in the healthcare industry, you know the time involved in conforming to the Joint Commission’s performance standards, and collecting the data to support the good work we do. You also know what is involved in maintaining these standards – and the fact that Joint Commission-approved organizations are committed to achieving excellence over the long-term. This is not just a one-time certification.
For those of you who don’t yet know what this means, receiving a Joint Commission Health Care Staffing Services Certification is like getting a gold seal on the quality of our work. We received the Joint Commission’s stamp of approval after passing their rigorous review process. Using their standardized and long-tested measurements of performance, the Joint Commission reviewed our work based on information we provided, as well as evaluating our end clients’ opinions on our quality of work. All of this and more went into determining our eligibility for certification. As you can see, it’s not just about us showing what we do, but having our clients tell our story as well!
The Joint Commission, an independent, not-for-profit organization, is known as a “symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards.”1 Its mission is: To continuously improve health care for the public, in collaboration with other stakeholders, by evaluating health care organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value.
We are very proud of our Travel Nurse Division Joint Commission Certification! If you think you’ve got what it takes to #JoinTheSquad, please contact us! We’re here to help you find that win-win! Good luck!
